What you can explore here
This site presents a selected part of our Inferno work. The browser viewers use decoded display data and inspection controls. The C++ reconstruction follows the original game in greater detail and remains under verification.
Our main reference is the English retail CD release 1.58. We also compare the 1.82 and 1.89 demos, the loose 1.104 installation and the earlier TFX-bundled cinematic preview. The article is grounded in those files, the original pilot’s handbook and our instruction-level comparisons.
Original creators
Inferno was created by Digital Image Design and published by Ocean in 1994. The handbook credits Shaun Hollywood with concept, design and direction; Colin Bell as head of programming; David Dixon, Nevil Plura and Jamie Cansdale with game programming; and Nik and Mrs Fiend of Alien Sex Fiend with the soundtrack. The original artwork, models, maps and music belong to their respective creators.
This is independent research, without affiliation or endorsement. The site offers no game archive, executable, installation media, ROM files or resource exports.
